Are you ready for some of the same football? For better or worse, Madden NFL on Wii has made numerous, significant changes to its formula over the last few years. It evolves significantly each year, which is more than the other versions of Madden can say. For the first time, Madden on Wii just feels like a roster update.
Not to say that Madden NFL 12 is a bad game, it's actually pretty good. In fact it improves on a lot of aspects from last year. Madden NFL 12 still features the more stylistic, simplified approach to football, with both 5vs5 and 11vs11 modes, as well as a Franchise mode that feels like Madden mixed with a SimCity. However, the experience feels fundamentally the same. On the improvement front, you can finally play Madden with the Classic Controller, making it feel more like its counterpart on the and PS3.
For those of you that liked waggling the Wii Remote to catch, or using the pointer to make passes, those controls stay intact. The rest of us, though, now have a non-motion based alternative control scheme. Verdict Madden NFL 12 is a solid football game. It feels like a roster update, a complaint so many people already have, and something the Wii version has bucked. Was this article informative?
YES NO. In This Article. Madden NFL 12 continues the rich tradition of the storied franchise by bringing fans closer to the NFL than ever before. No Descriptors. This is a big improvement from NHL 2. K9 where players faces were completely inaccurate.
Twitter stores that location. Sign up, tune into the things you care about, and get updates as they happen. PS3 versions, they will still please anybody who is not completely picky about it. There are also some graphic glitches such as a player shooting without the puck even touching his stick or going through another player when trying to check them, but they are minor and usually don't occur often nor change the outcome of the match. The soundtrack is pretty good too and you will usually not hear the announcers repeating the same line very often.
In franchise mode, you get to do the usual trades, free agent signings, line editing, and playing as you go for the cup. This is a a great mode and it feels great when you get to control your players as they each do a victory lap after winning the cup. The only problem with this mode is that many free agents ask for too much money and star players such as Jonathan Toews or Claude Giroux just to name a few, end up staying as free agents.
There are interesting controls such as pressing down on the control pad and shaking the Wii remote from side to side to stick handle as if it were a stick. You also thrust both the Wii remote and nunchuck ahead to bodycheck. These are great 9. K9 as in it you could just rush up the left wing, pass it across, one- time it and score almost every time.
The only major flaw in my opinion is the lousiness of the referees at times. Once i was in front of my net i my zone without the puck, a guy on the other team bodychecked me and I got a penalty! But in most games the refs are fine and calls such as tripping and hooking are accurate. Sure it has it's flaws, but it's hard to find a game that dosen't. K9, then buy it because you will love this game! Share this post.
