If you control alt delete and logoff you get logged back in again and the software restarts. I don't think you can launch task manager. You are still running full Windows, but the user basically con't do anything but be in the RDP session. Not trying to be a downer for this post or say you shouldn't do it, but have you considered all the factors in this? Just trying to point out that this might not be the right thing to do.

More than what your saving now? Ncomputing that was mentioned literally mounts to the vesa mount on the back of a monitor, VERY neat and tidy and saves space. We used 40 of them for 2 computer labs in the school I worked for last and they were awesome. As Dave mentions power consumption could potentially be an issue.

I'm sure there is a way to calculate this based on the power draw over time. Then, there is the issue of security. Dave This machine won't be on all the time, I've see batch files that shutdown the machine after the session ends so power consumption isn't something that really worries me.
