Sims 3 wont load saved game

They do more harm than good with saved games, so should be avoided as much as possible. Use "Save as" whenever possible. If that does not fix the problem, right-click The Sims 3 in your game library, select properties, go to the Local Files tab and click the "verify integrity of game cache" button. Steam will compare the game files that you have installed against what should be installed and will reacquire any missing files.

It's not unusual for Steam to reacquire a couple of manifest files that get deleted after installation, so don't panic if it says there were a couple of missing files. Last edited by marstinson ; 22 Aug, pm. It worked.
